I've recently been playing around with The Hit List, the task management program from Potion Factory, considering it as a replacement for OmniFocus. I've been using OmniFocus for a while now and while it does its job well, in my opinion the interface leaves a little bit to be desired.
It's no secret to Mac users that if you own more than one machine, Apple's MobileMe service is a great way to keep your data synced between all of your machines. And while it's true that there are plenty of methods of doing everything that MobileMe offers for the much lower price of free, I have yet to come across a one-app solution.
Today I installed a brand new hard drive in my 2.33 GHz MacBook Pro 15". The drive that was shipped with the computer, a Hitachi 120GB 5400 RPM drive, just wasn't cutting it anymore. I purchased a new Seagate 320GB 7200 RPM SATA drive from NewEgg and replaced it in about 45 minutes.
One of my only gripes with Safari 3 is the lack of color-coded HTML source in the "View Source" window that is presented in the View menu or when right-clicking on a page. While it's true that you can view color-coded source code in the Web Inspector, you have to first enable the Developer menu in the Advanced tab of the Safari preferences.
You've seen it before, and you probably hate it as much as I do. You know... when the URL of the site you're visiting becomes so long it doesn't even fit into the viewable space of the URL bar. Okay, you may not hate it as much as me, or maybe you never even noticed it at all. But I'll bet you'll notice it from now on.
